-Tarjotinpöytä ja lisää mosaiikkitöitä +ohjeita
-Tray table and some more mosaic works +tutorials

MOI! Ü HI! Ü
We have had some spring showers today.
Well, actually just one shower...
It started in the morning and it haven't stopped yet.
Because the circumstances outside were quite cool and wet  I stayed in and
I spent my day finishing the mosaic works I started last Sunday at the Miniclub.

I showed this flower mosaic in my previous post.
I wasn't sure what I was going to make of it but then I saw
And TaDaah... I made a tray table!
Make a visit to Caroline's beautiful blog and find all the measurements.
I have mesured just with my wonky eyeballs.
You know... inches are not for me. :D

After the tray table was done
I decided to make a pair for the chair I made at the club earlier.

I cut aprox 3 mm stripes from paint sample strips and then cut them into squares.
I spread some glue on to a small area.

Then with a toothpick I placed 'tiles' one by one on to the seat shaped cardboard.
It was a bit difficult to get a photo of this step.
I had a toothpick in my other hand and mobile in the other.
I was alone at home so there was no help available for this.
Hmm, well I wasn't exactly alone.
Our Turtle was sleeping in his shell and the cat...
wasn't in a very helpful mood either. :D
But I got the chair done.
Here I'm watching the varnish to dry.
Yes, and I had a cup of coffee too.
Here are all my mosaic works.
Though the mosaics are just cardboard pieces
I think the results turned out quite nice.

Soon April will turn to May.
I am happy to tell that my Marigolds are still alive and they are doing well.
A week ago I planted part of the sprouts to bigger pots.
There were so many that I run out of pots.
This weekend I planted the rest of the Marigolds and
put some Sunflower seeds to the soil.
Let's see how all these will succeed.

 Now,
I wish a happy spring week to all of you!
Thank you so much for all the lovely comments to my posts.
♥♥
Also, thank you for your patience with my English, Finnish and with the google-translator!

  10. Hahahahaha, Piikko, that picture of your cat Neko is so lovely, yes, he is a great 'help', yup.......so NOT ;O!! But I absolutely love your miniature mosaic works on the tray table and the chair, I love those colors too :D!
And if the seedlings of your sunflowers won't grow, you always have your gorgeous sunflower on the tray table ;)! I like your idea of recycling cartons of milk(?) as a planter for seedlings! My daughter really has green fingers, every plant will grow and she always can use new planters, so I think I'll share this idea with her, okay?
I'm very glad that this time I didn't have to struggle with the Finnish language, or the annoying translator for reading your blog post, it was all very clear to me, so THANK YOU :D!
    Hugs, Ilona
