Juhlat Paprikapuun alla ovat alkamassa...

 Party is going to start under the Pepper tree ...

 Ilonaa odotellessaan Rauha taittelee lautasliinoja.
 Ja sieltähän se Ilona jo saapuukin.

Rauha is folding napkins while she is waiting Ilona to arrive. 

And there is Ilona coming.

 Ilona: Moi Rauha!

Tulepas katsomaan mitä yllätyksiä Tiina ja Kaija ovat lähettäneet sinulle!

Ilona: Hi, Rauha!
Come to see what surprises Tiina and Kaija have sent to you!

 Rauha: Ooh, mitä vanhat silmäni näkevätkään!
Aivan mahtavat yllätykset! Ja näin paljon!

 Ilona: Totta, kertakaikkisen ihania lahjoja. Onneksi olkoon!

Rauha: Oh, what my old eyes are seeing! 
What awesome surprises! And so many!
♥THANK YOU Tiina ja Kaija!
Ilona: Really lovely gifts indeed. Congratulations!

Ja sitten käydään pöytään...
And then they get to the table...

  Ilona: Näyttääpä hyvältä! Mutta...luulin, että leivoit omenapiirakkaa.

Rauha: Umm...omenapiirakkako? Juu, leivoin, leivoin. 

Kun sain sen valmiiksi, ajattelin maistaa tuliko siitä hyvää...

Sitten maistoin vähän lisää.....ja sitten...

Se viimeinen pala näytti niin yksinäiseltä siinä lautasella...

  Ilona: Looks great! But I thought that you baked an apple pie.
Rauha: Umm...apple pie? Oh yes, I did. I baked one.
When I got it ready I was thinking of tasting it to see if it turned out well...
Then I tasted a little bite more...and then...
 Then the last piece looked so lonely on the plate...

 Ilona: :DDD Ai, söit sitten koko piirakan! ;DDD
Rauha: JooJoo, onneksi olen nyt tarpeeksi vanha, että voin heti myöntää.;D
Mutta ei sitä silti tarvitse kertoa kaikille!
Siis, että söin koko piirakan kerralla.
Eikä sitä, että olen riittävän vanha... :-)

Ilona: :DDD You ate the whole pie! Didn't you!;DDD
Rauha: YeahYeah, fortunately I'm now old enough to admit that . ;D
But you don't have to tell that to everybody!
I  mean, that I eat whole pie at once.
Or that I'm old enough... :-)

Paprikapuun alla oli tarjolla herkkuja ja höpötystä.
Päivän päätteeksi Rauha on istahtanut
 ihailemaan ja ihmettelemään saamiaan lahjoja.
Taitaapa vielä mutustella yhden leivoksenkin
saadakseen hieman energiaa tuleville vuosilleen.....

 There were nice treats and a lot of  chit chat going on under the Pepper tree.
In the end of the day Rauha sat down to look at the lovely gifts she had got.
She still might have one sweetie to get some energy for her years to come...

Viime syksynä Rauha antoi Ilonalle kepposen ja karkin. 

Tänä vuonna Rauha ei aio keppostella syysjuhlissa.

Hän on päättänyt leippoa!

  Last autumn Rauha gave Ilona  a trick and  a treat.
This year Rauha is not going to make any tricks at the autumn party.
She has decided to bake!

 

-Siinä on Ilonalle karkkia, kun leivon oikein herkullisen omenapiirakan.

 -There is a great treat  to Ilona  when I bake a delicious apple pie for her.

-Vielä vähän lisää omenaviipaleita, ja hyvää tulee.

Taidanpa pyöräyttää vielä yhden kakun ja lettujakin voisin paistaa.

Tämä on NIIN helppoa!!!

-Just a few more apple slices and it'll be yummy.
I think I'll make one more cake and crepes would be delicious too.
This is SO easy!!!

Paprikapuuni alla tapahtuu jotain...

 

There is something going on under my Pepper tree... 

Katsotaanpa hieman lähempää.

Let's have a closer look.

Ahaa! Syystyöt on tehty ja nyt
 Rauha ja Ilona taitavat suunnitella pikku kekkereitä.

 

Ahaa! The autumn gardening is done
and now Rauha and Ilona are planning a little party.

Rauha: Hyvä Ilona!
Nuo lyhdyt näyttävät varmasti hienoilta iltapimeässä!
Sanohan, mikä olisi hyvä paikka tälle kranssille?

Rauha: Well done Ilona!
Those lanterns will look so great on a dark night!

Tell me, what would be a nice place for this wreath?

Ilona: Se on niin nätti.
Laita se johonkin mistä se näkyy kaikille.
Mä etsin vielä paikan tälle yhdelle lyhdylle.

Ilona: It is so pretty.
Hang it somewhere where everybody can see it.

I'll find a place for this one lantern.
